And finally (sorry), I wouldn't be upset if Chael got a rematch, but with Silva out until March it won't be happening. I loved the main event, great fight, and I was just as impressed with Anderson winning though adversity as I am when he wins through dominance. Too bad about Alan Belcher...that injury will never fully heal. My mom had it happen to her last year. Detatched retinas are a bitch. OK, I'm done I guess. :) Super vid, as always

Also, the way Kampmann owned Paulo Thiago on the ground was kinda shocking to me. But my rub is this: If Kampmann steamrolls Shields like I think he will, that could possibly set-up a Fitch-Kampmann contender fight, which I see Fitch winning. Fitch is a BEAST. A boring beast? lol. I agree with Rogan that his fights are great to watch from a technical standpoint.

I think Kampmann has the best chance at beating GSP right now. Even slightly better than KOS. I like Shields, but I have a difficult time seeing him as the guy to topple Georges. GSP and Shields have similar styles, but GSP is just better at fighting within that style. Shields has questionable standup technique, and seems to have limited punching power, which is why I think KOS and Kampmann would fare better, as they both have great standup, as well as excellent ground games.

I'm ready to see Vitor back in there too, Okami would be a good fight, can't think of anyone else for him to fight right now, everyone is either injured or have a fight already. I'd love to see Vitor vs Belcher but I hear Belcher has a pretty serious injury.

Too much to comment on with a PS3 controller, so I'll just say that yeah, UFC 117 was excellent. Would have liked to see some more prelims, but at least we got the Struve comeback fight on the ppv.
