You are deluded if you think this comes anywhere near to the 7D, the sensors are similar yes..but that is where it ends, Canons pricing is lunacy since the 7D is the MUCH better camera and the flip out LCD is a gimmick used to tempt first time pro-sumers into the market. If you know your kit...you would never take the 60d over the slightly more expensive 7D.

Canon needs to get the auto focus in video mode working and not just as a contrast based system. This video is shot with manual focus and a really good L class lens. I love Canon but Sony has just released their new alfa series product with a transparent mirror and the autofocus in video mode seems to works much better and cost like the 550D with better performance from the body alone. Canon has still way better lenses but needs to work on that autofocus.

impressive HD vid feature except for its plastic body which is noticebly the downside of it. The cam itself look so amature in size. Overall its OK though. They should have made it more sturdy for ergonomics considerations. I'd rather have Nikon D90.

PCs are compatible with far more software, games and hardware. You should also consider the Casio EX-F1 because it has a focus ring around the lens, a external mic jack, a hot shoe, a threaded lens for UV filters, and slow motion (if you want a fun bonus). Hard to believe it's from Casio. The problem is the price.

impressive camera, but not the high end of technology. once it incorporates casio's ex-f1 speed then there would be no doubt about it. its too bad that casio do not deliver the same resolution image quality and lenses. i want to see a true dslr like this capturing full 21mp stills at 60 frames per second. that would change photography

i just dont wanna listen to what "was totally unimaginable a few years ago" anymore.. just put it together. put it on the market, because customers are well informed nowadays. new processor? allright. i´m pretty sure there´ll be a better one after that. just gimme full HD (with a good codec) video in my hand without an egg boiling camera body. at least i get the feeling we´re getting close with the MK II (which hides the main feature in sub-menus..*shaking my head*). ask mr. schilowitz.
