Florian Schneider is strange. He's definitely one of the men behind Kraftwerk alright. He's a complete robot, but of course, genius and eccentricity kind of go hand in hand.

What do you expect from them? THEY ARE NERDS !!! They each have a doctorate in electronics and engineering. They are very, very intelligent. They invented their own synthezisers and electronic stuff. So they are not like your average rock star like say David Lee Roth or Ozzy Osbourne. Theyr'e NERDS!! nerds that make the best electronic music on the face of this planet!!

You're so wrong - From any of the members he is the one most likely to shakes hands, give an autograph or let you have a picture. In past performances I've even seen him hand over his calculator live on stage so the audience can have a little play during 'Pocket Calculator'.
