I know that there are different versions for all the major networks, the T-Mobile version is the best version to me. The att version is the ugly one. It looks like a Samsung wave. They really messed up this for att. IMO. The Verizon version is second in my book, because I don't like slide out keyboards.

@linagee On At&t it would only get edge speeds. T-mobile and ATT use different 3g bands. Of course, the captivate is the same phone in a different housing that is offered on att. So you could do a comparative test with those phones instead.

I bought my (t-mobile) HTC HD2 2 weeks ago and love it. Only once in 2 weeks has it froze, and It's because of all of the modifications I had made without pulling the battery. I wasn't really fond of the HTC sense home screen so I bought the SPB shell and haven't looked back. Before buying the HD2 I bought a BB bold 9700, and returned it for the HD2.

@mrjlwilliams cool. The freezing on my nexus almost never happened and trust me, I tried to give it a chance by paying 479 out of pocket for it. My nexus never froze and stay frozed until you took the battery out. U must have rooted your hd2 right?

@phillyprodigy09 I think if you can get past the windows mind set, you will be fine. But as for the freezing, yep....I would be mad too...you need a program called cleanRam. It helps to keep it fresh, and also remember to use the task manager as well. My Nexus locked up on my a few times, but I have taskiller pro. So its the same there. Any phone can freeze, but some people keep thinking about the old windows phones...and don't give new ones a chance.

@ebanezarscrooge first buy the knock down, you know what that is right? it has RCA's connected to it. Then do a basic trunk install from the rear deck speakers. So yes, splice the rear speakers...and the knock down will do the rest. Simple as that...

I prefer shapewriter. The one thing I hate is that I like swypes big keys, and placement of some symbols, but I like on shapewriter being able to add words easier, as well as being able to go back over mistakes and touch them and easily correct them. I guess I'll stick with shapewriter.
