@PhatShady95, I would recommend Sony, Apple, HP, or Dell. Just to give a good variety.
By: superfish7. on 10 Mar 10, 23:10:49
lol i said i saw my mistake fool shutup. and 2.8 is still slow maybe not for a laptop though.
By: naterv11. on 10 Mar 10, 23:08:28
it has turbo boost up to 2.8 ghz though...so dont say shit.
By: elegadom2. on 10 Mar 10, 23:07:39
I believe the price is worth it, I have yet to see a sony product that has let me down.
By: clays121. on 10 Mar 10, 21:05:08
I personally like ACER AMD based laptops for a general everyday use laptop, and i use to like AMD based Everex laptops like there 17in 5000XT which i have, but sadly they went out of biz cause of bad management, and there cheap low end VIA C7 laptops. But i would stick with ACER, Gateway, and Emachines (same company) AMD based machines you get better bang for the buck.

@clays121 What laptop company do you recomend?
By: clays121. on 10 Mar 10, 19:13:17
As always Sony is over pricing itself again, which is why a lot of there sales figures have been down as of late. People are seeing the quality is not really there with Sony anymore, when they can go out and buy 2 or 3 of the compilations laptop, with almost the same specs.
By: ZephMan13. on 10 Mar 10, 18:24:07
It has the same processing power as a 5.6 dual core, not necessarily the same performance on single applications. Thats what I meant to say.
By: superfish7. on 10 Mar 10, 17:53:40
for one a dule core at 5.6 would be blazingly fast because alot of program's and games dont use the 4 cores. and i seen my mistake i forgot about the ocing but my desktop is a 4.0 quad soo
By: ZephMan13. on 10 Mar 10, 17:48:55
@superfish7 Its a quad core that has automatic overclocking built in that boosts it up to 2.8 when you need it. So that equivalent to a 5.6 core 2 duo. Except with a bigger cache I think.
By: kenapa1234. on 10 Mar 10, 17:11:03
@superfish7 its i7
By: superfish7. on 10 Mar 10, 16:59:39

$1,199.99 ^^ expensive as hell, but it's worth it. ;)
By: Sergeantspoon. on 10 Mar 10, 16:27:58
I would totaly buy it if it had a 1920x1080 resolution screen.
