Nice try. I think I would have just taken a photograph of the front and back of the camera and then photoshopped it pink (I mean magenta). Then printed both views out exact life size, glued them to foamcore and made a cut out. Put a strap on it and Ta Da! Pink (I mean magenta) D90!! As long as it's always held straight on in photos or videos, who'd ever know....and the boss will give you a promotion for saving DigitalRev about a grand. :D

this is a great little camera, i have taken 100's of pics, at first i wasnt very impressed with it, but if u stick with it an LEARN how to work it proper u get great pics, only two annoying things to report, one it takes 1.5 seconds (a long time) shot to shot, i use it every day on country walks taking quick shots, but often miss a second shot due to the time it takes to store the pic, second is the sound, its pretty distorted.

I own the camera and really low tones wont sound good at all. High pitched sounds on the other hand are captured relatively well. Even dedicated videocams have problem with really loud and low tones so I'd recomend the usage of a standalone sound recording device.

Es lamentable, pero debes ser el unico que le ha pasado esto. Personalmente la Panasonic Lumix FZ-18 me parece una gran cámara, pero saca unas fotos francamente pochas de color y está totalmente obsoleta en lo relativo a videos en alta definicion, cosa que si incorporan ya otras marcas, entre ellas Kodak.

This camera sucks because the so called optical image stabliztion doesent work that well!also it comes with a cheap lens cover which broke in my camera bag and a microphone for my other camera SCRACHED THE LENZES!!! WHAT A BUNCH OF S@#$ this camera is. another thing that really pisses me off is the flash because i dont know if there is a black hole in my bag but the flash for some reason poped up and broke off as well and its a cheap camera! You are making too big of an issue out of it. It's just the hardware tessellation being utilized by DX11. DX11 is just allowing for you to interface with the GPU, as far as GPU is concerned the same effect could be achieved with OpenGL.

Oh, wait. I assumed you knew what parallax mapping was. My mistake. Bump mapping simulates depth by changing how light reacts to the surface by using a normal map. Parallax mapping simulates depth by ray-tracing against a height map. Tessellation (with the right hardware (AKA DirectX 11 cards)) simulates depth better and faster than parallax mapping and gives bump mapping for free due to the new patches created without needing a normal map. Better, faster and more memory efficient.

@falconfira Not true, DX11 uses something called Tessellation which is what you are seeing on the houses/stone ect. The reason the GPU can handle it is because of how often its actually there. Notice towards the end he zooms out and theres no difference, he has to zoom in to see a difference. That is because those "DX11 wires" will go away when you zoom out. It works the same way grass? does when you walk away from it.
