@theshocker213 if you have a closer look, you'll notice, that this moment when he shoots was played faster. and, the most important thing is, you don't see the muzzle. if a gun is fired, normally the hot gasses create a shadow on the ground (there is no shadow). you can look this up in many videos on youtube. i did that too before i posted my comment so i'm 99.98% sure :) AND, if it were real, he probably would be injured and you'd see blood.

DM's last entirely good LP was Sofad. Since Alan's departure they all know something is missing and have been trying to recapture the magic since 1995. I am proud they keep plugging away. But need to write better songs and use less "help" trust themselves. I agree, Alan's contribution to DM is not to be contested, but I'd still say that DM without Alan is still better than Alan outside of DM, it is hard to beat that Martin Gore, he really is the "mind" behind DM music, it comes easy to him, music, lyrics ...! I really like Ultra and Playing the Angel, very strong albums, Exciter,not so much, also a note: saying "Alan come back to DM" is probably offensive to him, because it means that his work was better when the music was written by Martin.

Excellent Vid, Hickock, and more scientific than you think. You can definitely see the difference in recoil. I carry the G29, as you may recall, and you're right; more kick, biut it don't hurt a bit. =)

@lizzardwizard2000, Dealer ordered a std. G29 by mistake, but it fits OK in my hand. The 10mm is awesome compared to my 40S&W G27. The G29 has a felt recoil similar to a 1911 45ACP- In my opinion, with better terminal affect!!! This is a really good video demonstration, but doesn't show how much more muzzle blast and sound the 10mm has.

@hickok45 Indeed. It's easy to oversimplify. There's more to recoil than just momentum and energy. The amount of hot powder gasses, the way the action of the gun operates, the grip design are some of many other factors. Glock seems to have gotten many things right with their design though... BTW I laughed so hard at that "high capacity, semi automatic assault stapler" :)

Interesting premis...I am stuck between the 26 and 27 as I currently carry an XD 3" 9mm but wanting to go to a smaller CCW such as the 26. 34 years of military (Cav) M1911A1 and holding my horse with my left hand ... I enjoyed your presentation. Thanks
