@Cavaliso The fat 80GB model became $299 right before the Slim was launched. Backwards compatibility can be done by just a software update, so that won't cost them much more money. Linux is also in the software. Touch sensitive buttons and shininess maybe would have cost them some, but it's not that expensive either.

i got the limited edition xbox 360 + the game for mah bday (aug 5th) but it was pre-orderd of course i wouldve gotten legendary edition but my older xbox 360 (the first one made with the overheating issues) broke down cuz the pads that protectd the xclamps (two x shaped clamps that holded down all the circutry and wha tnot) from scratching the mother board melted and short circuted the mother board!!! so ya... fail

@TheClawhand no i thnk ill email them, i got a free refund for my wirless adapter but it didnt work, its as if i never got a new one, ive tryed all the suggestions from the xbox website, i brought my xbox downstares to see if there was a better connection even tho i could get the signal upstares, had a better connection but stil made no diffrence, my laptop and my iphone can connect from the same room downstares. im going to go the shop i got my xbox from and talk to them soon. :(

@MaybePotatoes The RROD is one flaw of the console. It's just that the gamers get so obssesive that their Xbox over-heats or some other problems. The RROD actually means their is an error with your Xbox, some bigger or smaller then others. I've gotten it three times, two for over heating and another because it was too dusty so it couldn't read the disc. The RROD isn't literally death unless it overheats.

All you do is plug your hard drive from your old Xbox 360 into one side of the cable, then plug the USB into the USB port on the new Xbox 360 and then the new Xbox 360 should say "Transfer cable detected. Would you like to transfer content now?" Select "Yes, transfer to console" Then you can select the content you would like transfered. Hope this answered your question.

They made it quick and it failed. Only about 6% of PS3s failed after 2 years, 10% before that. Seriously, though. If you're not a collector, don't buy this. Will you honestly be looking at art / comic books a few months down the road? Will you honestly be using the "behind the scenes" / Soundtrack DVD? Will you really be using the WoW guest passes? Are you SERIOUSLY considering buying it because of the box? Are you buying it for the in-game portraits, which you'll replace in a few weeks with one that holds merit (like Jim Raynor's, obtained after beating the game)? Didn't think so.

@antidote29 I got the collector's ed. and i can tell you if you geek out on goodies you'll def want this. the flash drive dog tag is cool and weighty because of the metallic exterior. i didn't have the original game so that was a plus for me. the art book is nice. i'm not into comic books but the artwork is well done. i'm no fanatic but when i see a special edition like this i indulge.
